Issue
Enable secure FTP connection on ProFTPd

Fix
apt install proftpd proftpd-mod-crypto

 

Edit /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf as follow

PassivePorts 30000 50000
Include /etc/proftpd/tls.conf

 

Edit /etc/proftpd/tls.conf and set:

TLSEngine on
TLSLog /var/log/proftpd/tls.log
TLSProtocol SSLv23
TLSRSACertificateFile /etc/ssl/star_goline_ch.crt
TLSRSACertificateKeyFile /etc/ssl/star_goline_ch.key
TLSOptions NoCertRequest EnableDiags NoSessionReuseRequired
TLSVerifyClient off
TLSRequired on

 

Editi/etc/proftpd/modules.conf and set:

LoadModule mod_tls.c
